According to an article published on the Android Authority website, the author, expressing disappointment over the void left after OnePlus withdrew from the US market, emphasizes that the company faced a lack of distribution and operator support rather than product quality. In the article, the intense interest in the upcoming OnePlus 16 model shows that the brand does not have a problem with its hardware.
The design of the OnePlus 15 model is said to bear the signature of OnePlus, but it has a simpler aesthetic than the previous model. The technical specifications of the phone are said to be on par with any smartphone that can be purchased in the US.
However, T-Mobile and the MVNOs on its network will be your best (and only) chance. AT&T’s network doesn’t work with devices that aren’t on the white list, and Verizon has similar challenges, the author notes. Still, if you’re determined to buy a OnePlus 16 in the US, you’ll at least have a chance with T-Mobile.
