Affordable AMD-Powered Orico Laptop with Full-Size Keyboard Enters Global Market.

Following the announcement of the Orico Obook Ultrabook at the end of 2025, which was the company’s first laptop, the brand is now entering the global laptop market with the Obook 15 AI. It’s not exactly the same as the system unveiled in the Chinese market last year, but the good news is that its starting price is relatively affordable.

Orico’s Obook 15 AI features the AMD Ryzen 7 6800H, a mid-to-upper-range processor from the Rembrandt-H series. It has an 8-core Zen 3+ CPU and a Radeon 680M iGPU. In particular, the integrated enables the laptop to handle casual gaming and tasks requiring moderate GPU workload.

This AMD processor is paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and features two M.2 slots. Each can theoretically hold up to 8TB of SSD storage (the current price of the Silicon Power 2TB SSD on Amazon is $215.97). Orico also highlights the dual-fan cooling system, which is said to provide appropriate heat dissipation for the laptop.

The front features a 15.6-inch display, which is a relatively thick-bezeled FHD panel. The screen size places the laptop among the larger models, though Orico appears to have used this space well in terms of the keyboard; it also comes with a numeric keypad. The touchpad is also relatively large, but the same cannot be said about the battery.

The Orico Obook 15 AI features a 54.29Wh battery and won’t deliver impressive battery life due to the Ryzen 7 6800H, which isn’t a particularly efficient processor by modern standards. The positive aspect, however, is the support for 100W fast charging via USB-C.

As for the ports, the laptop has the following:

For wireless connectivity, it features WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. As for pricing, the base model comes with 12GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, with a launch price of $689.99. The configuration with 24GB of memory and a 1TB SSD costs $899.99. Orico has not disclosed when the laptop will be available for purchase.
