The Rambler voice typing mode and AI Writing Tools, which Gboard offers exclusively to Pixel users, can be used on any Android device without root access. The modified (mod) Gboard application called PixelBoard can be easily downloaded from GitHub. In addition to many functional features of Gboard, some are not available to non-Pixel users. These include the notable Rambler voice typing mode, which was recently introduced with the Pixel 11 series. If users are not satisfied with Swiftkey’s AI voice mode, there is a useful option.

According to the test results available in the source, in the test conducted by the developer on the vivo X300 FE device, the Rambler voice mode has been tried to get out of the box. All pauses in the speech are converted into cleanly formatted text by removing filler sounds such as “eeee”, and the text can be quickly reviewed, edited, shortened, or expanded with the writing tools.
